We don't know about you guys, but owning and caring for a dog is a full-time job. Especially, if it's a puppy. There are so many nuances that go into raising and training a pup that no one really prepares you for. Before adopting, one should obviously know that dog ownership comes with tons of responsibilities and requires time, effort, dedication, and consistency. But still, it's much easier said than done. Because when you finally adopt the puppy, it only then hits you that this is a full commitment and it will be hard (but oh so worth it at the end).

We recently adopted a puppy ourselves, actually. And one thing we realized while potty training our dog is that we're nowhere near ready to have actual kids. If we think the 'no' stage is hard with puppies, imagine how difficult it would be with a baby. Yeah, no thanks.
